[Hemlock Lake, close to north end, looking south]
In not so shocking news the City of Rochester and State of New York are in the last stages of finalizing the sale/purchase of 7,100 acres in and around the last two undeveloped Finger Lakes of Hemlock and Canadice.
Anyways, there should be some more news to come regarding this in the not-so-distant future - and hopefully a larger dissection and analysis of everything surrounding this from yours truly.
